Kart completed the job what was within his expertise. And he completed the job professionally. Replacing faucets, hanging rods in the closet, making and installing the screens. There was one electrical issue too, however after assessing it, Kart clearly told me that he won’t be able to do it and didn’t charge us for that. Thank you Kart. I will definitely recommend him for handyman jobs.

An issue arose at the conclusion of the project when it was time to pay for the job. His first estimate was a low price and, based on that price we hired him. He was ready to work the same day but decided the project was more complex than he originally thought and said he needed more money before he could begin work. We deliberated but agreed to the new price quote. The job took almost a week to complete. There had been no discussion of a new price. When I paid him the agreed upon price, he wanted $700 more. I had not budgeted for additional costs and did not have an additional $700 available. I wanted to be fair to him, but I think we resolved the issue with both of us feeling less than positive about the misunderstanding. He is a good guy who takes pride in his workmanship and is courteous but I would suggest discussing the bid price and what justifies additional costs clearly and thoroughly in advance of starting the work on a project so that there are no surprises when the job is completed.
