Hired on Thumbtack

Nick did an excellent job in my hair studio. He installed the laminate flooring and assembled all the furniture with great attention to detail. He came fully prepared, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was perfectly aligned and sturdy. Super professional, clean, and easy to communicate with. My hair studio looks completely transformed thanks to his work. Highly recommend!

Communicative and prompt! Got through a ton of different projects, kept the space clean and made sure everything was done perfectly before leaving. Really easy to work with. I will definitely hire him again!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got hired as a Laborer/Temporary help on a remodeling project and after the job was done the contractor decided to keep me around and eventually we became partners :) In the summer of 2025 we part ways and I decide to pursue this career on my own!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important thing is communication. Please provide as many details about the project as possible. Understand that most of the work we do usually takes time and things seldom go according to plan! With that said, don't be afraid to ask questions, their responses will help you determine if that's someone you can work with :)

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would think about how many people will my job require. In my experience, to save money people will often hire just one person to do a what should be a 2 people job. That will often result in paying more for less. Do your research as best you can and determine roughly the price of materials.
