FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My ESTIMATED pet-sitting rates (all dependent on your specific needs, pets and situation): 1-2 cats (no dogs present) = $10/hr ~~ 1-2 pets (cats and/or dogs) = $12/hr ~~ 3-4 pets (cats and/or dogs) = $15/hr ~~ 2-4 large or HIGH ENERGY pets (cats and/or dogs) = $20/hr ~~ If your pet has a specific disability or need, please let me know beforehand so I can make sure I'm knowledgeable on the topic. Rates may change based on the pet(s) needs. House sitting rates vary depending on length of stay, services needed and size of property. I do need to go back to my own home on occasion as well as go to my day job part of the week, so keep in mind I cannot stay at your home 24/7.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love speaking with people to feel out their personality and needs. It's important to me for a client to be upfront about who they are and who their pet is so I can ultimately make the most informed call whether or not I'll be the best option for them. I'm not afraid to tell people if I don't believe my services are right for them, in the end it's all about the animal in need and how they'll get the best services possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and have always felt as if they were my calling. In my adult life I've pursued it as a career and at my current workplace at a holistic dog daycare and boarding facility I have worked as a playground attendant, liaison between parents and the playground, and a temperment evaluator for new dogs. At home I take care of my six year-old one-eyed rescue cat and two year-old rescue dog and absolutely love it.
