Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am a personal trainer in pasadena California. Well, let me start with the basics about myself. I am an experienced, certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise, National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association, and National Council of Strength and Fitness (all NCCA accredited training certifications). Also, I am CPR and AED certified. I think of myself more as a fitness enthusiast rather than a personal trainer. I pretty much eat, sleep, and breathe fitness. I believe in continuously keeping up to date with the latest trends and scientific findings about fitness, so that I can better assist my clients in achieving their goals. I'm not your typical trainer who will sit you on a machine and tell you to do 10 reps. Instead, I believe in functional training and educating my clients, so that they understand what and why they are doing each exercise, as well as how to prevent injuries. Proper form is always key, and I don't believe in ever sacrificing form for reps or weights. I genuinely care about the people I work with and believe in treating them like friends. I am always a phone call or text away and, believe me when I say, expect to hear from me outside of our training sessions. Checking in from time to time is very important in helping you attain your goals. Outside of the gym, I try to lead by example by living an active lifestyle. One of my hobbies is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and competing. I've competed in a good handful of competitions and have medaled in most. We all have our own personal goals. Whether yours is to lose weight, better your health, get fit, or simply achieve that stubborn six-pack abs, I can help you get there. My dream is to be able to share my passion for fitness with others out there and be able to make a difference in people's lives. Honestly, when my clients come to me and tell me things, like they haven't weighed this much since they were a kid, or when another tells me they no longer need to take their medication that they have been relying on for the past 10+ years, it reminds me that I really am making a difference in people's lives. If you're ready to take the first step in living a happier, healthier future, you can contact me through email or cellphone. We can set up a free orientation to discuss your goals and nutrition and evaluate your fitness.

Ron is the best trainer out there. He is very passionate about fitness and BJJ. But, most of all hes passionate and caring about helping people living a healthier life style. The first time I met him, I was very skeptical, as I had bad experience with other trainers. What set him aside from the other trainers, he seems to know what hes doing and was able to explain to me the why and how it functions for all the exercise and food. So, I gave it a shot and signed up for 30 sessions. He wasnt joking about contacting me outside of the sessions. He called, text, Facebooked all the time to see how I was doing and keeping me accountable. He really cared to see me living a healthier lifestyle. I dont see that with many trainers. Most trainers I see only talk to their clients during the sessions and nothing more.I have been training with Ron for 11 months. I have lost a total of 60lbs with 15 more to go. I never thought I would be able to do the things I do now and definitely exceeded my expectation for myself. For sure I would not be here if if was for Ron.

Ron is the real deal. I've loss weight in the pass but kept gaining it back so I finally decided to seek help. I checked out a few trainers from my local commercial gym and found poor reviews. I came across Ron's profile over the net and man I was impress with his accomplishments. I contacted Ron and we went over my goals and ambitions. I signed on for 3 months and on my way of reaching my goal. In a short time frame I've learned proper lifting techniques and most importantly proper nutrition. Losing weight is easy but losing weight the correct way is hard. Ron is not one of those pushy trainers you see on the biggest loser but he will optimize your potential. No regrets, if you need a trainer this your guy.

I've been training with Ron for about 5 months now and I can honestly say he's awesome. I've never worked out consistently in the gym, or even done a deadlift and now I'm in the best shape of my life, know the proper form for all the main compound barbell movements and on my way to getting the 6-pack abs that I want! The thing with Ron is that he is really into efficiency. He's worked with so many different clients that he can help you achieve almost any fitness goal you have. That's the biggest difference between him and others that I've realized. "Book knowledge" doesn't mean anything if you haven't applied it on "real" people since everyone is different.Prior to Ron, I had a personal trainer for a couple sessions at 24 hour fitness and it just seemed like they didn't really care about me or my progress.Ron will weigh me every week, text me to make sure I'm eating right and doing my cardio and make adjustments on the fly depending on how much progress I'm making. I've even had injuries at some point from other sports, and he'll adjust the workout based on that to help me not only recover but still get a solid workout. The biggest thing that I've gotten from Ron is that he created a custom workout schedule and meal plan for me that's SUSTAINABLE - i.e. I don't dread doing it every week. He doesn't push me to spend 2-3 hours in the gym because he believes with the right meal plan and intensity I can get results in MUCH less time. HOWEVER, he will also kick my ass (in the gym) on some days - and I feel great afterwards! He mixes up all the workouts everyday to keep it interesting. If you're looking for someone who knows their stuff, is super friendly and will make sure you get the results you want, Ron is your man. I would recommend him hands down.

After high school, my lifestyle became very sedentary and the weight just kept coming. I always had a gym membership and would work out on and off depending on my schedule but it became harder for me to lose any of it. I had never trained with a PT before so I thought it was something worth trying and it most definitely was - Ron was really great. He kept me accountable and made sure I showed up to our sessions and that I worked out on my own as well. He was also really flexible and dedicated to training me. I had a horrible work/life schedule which only allowed me to train early mornings or late night and he was cool with it -- we once trained at 11pm on a Friday night, how awesome is that! Before training with Ron, all I did was cardio. I was only comfortable doing cardio as the weights/weight room intimidated me. But Ron introduced me to weight resistance training and I love it. He was very knowledgeable about different exercises and had the patience to make sure I had proper form so not to hurt myself. He didn't let me give up and it was a lot of hard work but all worth it. I feel stronger every time I work out and now I dread cardio days and look forward to weight training days. If you live or work in the area and are looking for a personal trainer, Ron would really make a difference for you, he did for me. Training with him made me feel healthier, happier, and more confident.

I've been training with Ron for about 2 weeks now (5 sessions) and have signed up to train with him for 3 months. While it may seem too early to write a review, his positive attitude, knowledge, and commitment to his profession are apparent, deserve a lot of respect and thus he has earned this review. I've tried other personal trainers in the area who made me almost pass out within the first 30 minutes of our first session. The problem: not one took the time to assess 2 basic things (1) my fitness goals (2) my fitness level. Most of the other trainers in the area were difficult to get in touch with, awkwardly pushy, and seemed more eager and interested in getting a consulting fee before even discussing my fitness goals. That wasn't the case with Ron. We spoke multiple times about what my fitness goals were and what I wanted to get out of training. He then suggested I come in for a free training session so that I could see first-hand what kind of training I would be subjecting myself to and so that he could assess my fitness level. Based on this session, he gave me his recommendations and essentially told me what kind of training I would be engaged in and what to expect. It should be noted that Ron's rates are fair, and much more reasonable than other area trainers. The truth is, that while any type of personal training is more expensive than an ordinary gym membership, I now recognize that it's a worthwhile investment for the sake of your health.Ron is a great trainer and the gym is a wonderful facility. His knowledge level, desire to learn, desire to grow professionally, and his true understanding of the physical mechanics of the human body is demonstrated in his ability to train and motivate clients of varying levels. He is incredibly adept at striking the right balance of motivating you to stretch your limits, while stressing proper technique to ensure that old injuries do not occur again. He willing shares his fitness and nutritional expertise to make the session fun, challenging, and a learning experience. He is easy to relate to, easily accessible, always punctual, and has a good sense of humor which helps to motivate me. I highly recommend Ron to anyone looking for a great trainer. I've already started to see the results and look forward to what the next couple months of training will bring. If you decide to go with him, he'll tailor your routine to help you reach your goals, and give you the motivation, tools, and empowerment you need to become fitter overall - even when you're working out on your own.
