Introduction: We offer a lot more content in our wedding/event photography packages than most companies, for a much cheaper price. A large portion of photographers charge anywhere between $2000-$3000 for about 80-100 edited photos. Hippenmeyer Photography charges $1500 for 200-300 edited images. Often, we exceed that many images. Our last wedding had 805 edited images. We just love what we do. When you capture that one image that no other photographer would have captured. When you see something with your own unique eye. When you meet amazing people and see them on their wedding day. When you hear their stories. That's what I love about photography. Bringing the essence of people out in an image.

Nathan did the photography for our wedding, and it was amazing. He took tons of photographs, which allowed for us to have a high amount of really great photos to choose from when it was all finished. He and his team were very polite and planned out the entire photography session so that it was one less thing we had to worry about on our important day! He was a joy to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. We specifically like how he did great on the classic shots of the families and important events, but he also did a great job capturing everyone that was at the wedding and reception in candid shots. Again, we would recommend him to anyone, and we are sure you'll love his work!!

Nathan did the videography for my wedding. It was his first gig, but you wouldn't know it. He had brought all his new equipment, came early to get a feel for the place and make sure he made his rounds to meet the family and wedding party, right off the bat he made sure to create good rapport with everyone. He went above and beyond, interviewing guests and getting 'behind the scenes' shots, he was nice and personable to everyone while remaining very professional. After the ceremony, I received many compliments about my videographer, and how he and his assistant were absolutely EXCELLENT. Not too long after the wedding, we received several disks in the mail. We popped them into the blu ray player and sat back and watched. From the first seconds I was already in tears. It was beautiful! The music, the editing, the blocking, everything about the video was perfect. He had also included Special Features on the disk, which included some commentary, outtakes and interviews. It was so fun! Everyone in our family who received the video, LOVED it. Thanks again, Nathan. You and Becca helped make our Wedding day Perfect!

My husband and I had Nathan video tape our wedding. He gave our wedding disc at a very reasonable time, a few months after the wedding, and you can tell he out a lot of time and effort into it! It was so great how it was organized. I actually wasn't even expecting half of the things he did! He set it up like a dvd menu where you can view the wedding, interviews with guests, bonus features, and so forth. The interviews were probably my favorite! It was great seeing him interview friends and family and hearing their responses. The quality or sound and stillness (no shakiness while recording) was great! Over all, fantastic experience!

Nathan videotaped my engagement with my girlfriend when I planned to surprise her with my proposal. He was so professional and organized. Although he was requested to videotape the proposal with a short notice of time, everything was set up perfectly before the big moment. He put me and my friends on ease, and everything from the moment I met him till the end of the filming went very smoothly. I highly recommend to work with him.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always obsessed with cameras. I took every photography class I could in high school. I loved looking at things from a new perspective--seeing the world from a different vantage point. As my love for images grew, my love for photography grew.
