FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with each family when it comes to pricing. Full academic + admissions assessment Identify gaps (grades, skills, positioning) Evaluate strengths + opportunities Discuss goals (schools, timeline, performance) Scholarship/grants/FAFSA My initial 75 minute consultation is $250.OO USD. In this meeting all involved parties in the application process are asked to attend. This is a working session to assess the student’s profile and establish a clear admissions and funding strategy. Based on the needs and urgency a price is determined for weekly or bi-weekly meetings. This ranges from $90.00- $200.00 a session I have a 48 hour cancelation policy.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to the client about what is going wrong and what is going right. What are their goals? We schedule a session. After the session I discuss with the student and parents what I see and how I think it is best to proceed. If I do not feel I am the right fit I will refer you to resources I feel will be of benefit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), which gives me a strong foundation in learning psychology, motivation, and individualized support strategies. I was also educated within a top liberal arts environment, which shaped my interdisciplinary approach to critical thinking, writing, and academic rigor. For over 15 years, I have worked directly with students across a wide range of academic levels and goals. My approach integrates academic expertise with psychological insight and creativity, allowing me to tailor strategies to each student’s learning style, strengths, and challenges. In addition to academic tutoring, I have extensive experience guiding students and families through the college, private school, and transfer admissions processes. This includes strategic positioning, application development, and scholarship/funding opportunities I understand how to navigate these systems effectively while maintaining a strong focus on long-term fit—helping students not only gain admission, but choose schools that align with their individual goals, values, and future trajectories. academic + strategic + creativity = acceptance letters
