Kevin was terrific to work with. Very professional, efficient, and easy to communicate with. Their systems were very user friendly and robust. Working with Kevin from Phlotic was such a pleasure! I had to file my late mother's final tax return, which is an emotional task, and I had been dreading it. When I finally reached out to find a professional I was worried it was late in the tax season to find someone willing to take me on. Kevin was so responsive to my Thumbtack inquiry that he immediately called me, and assured me this was doable. He provided the Phlotic portal to submit and track documents, and even with a delay on my end of finding one last missing form, he was able to process the final return immediately! It took a huge weight off of my shoulder and I felt so comfortable and supported all along. I wasn't sure what working with an out of (my) state tax preparer would be like, but thanks to his fantastic service I am likely to return next year for our own family's tax preparation as well!

Kevin was awesome! My taxes have recently become more complicated and I needed professional help as I couldn’t trust my proficiency using TurboTax any longer.
Kevin started off with a quick call to get a better understanding of my situation and ended with a very transparent and fair price. From there, the process was very easy, although the secure organizer is a bit long — I suspect this will be much quicker during future tax years as Kevin now has my info. From there, I uploaded my documents and within a few hours, Kevin confirmed receipt through a text and an expected completion date. He finished much quicker than expected and allowed time for review and questions. Kevin answered all questions to my satisfaction, even committing to helping with tax strategy during the off-season — I definitely intend to take him up on that offer. After approval of the draft, he submitted my taxes online.
The overall refund is more than I expected! I couldn’t be happier — well at least until the funds are received in my account. Thank you so much Kevin for the efficient, professional, and friendly service! I look forward to speaking to you when peak tax season is over.
