FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! Just this summer, I completed my NLP Practitioner training with Robert Dilts and Judy Delozier, two of the global leaders in the field. I am constantly staying up to date on new coaching techniques as they are developed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to pursue coaching as a career three years ago when I was first introduced to NLP, hypnosis, and the personal change strategies of people like Tony Robbins, Richard Bandler, and Milton Erickson. I saw firsthand how lifelong phobias, unresourceful emotional/behavioral patterns, and even learning disabilities can be completely transformed in minutes! I was amazed, to say the least and knew I had to keep learning. Ever since, I've been hooked on finding the most effective ways to create change for people that brings them toward more joy, fulfillment, and compassion for others. I have watched time and again how once people feel they are succeeding in their own lives, they can't help but reach out to others.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common work I do with my clients is helping them get moving again. We all know the place of feeling "stuck." You have these goals and dreams, but some part of you just doesn't believe you can get there. I like to tell my clients that's actually a great place to be. It means you are about to have a breakthrough! Instead of wasting months or years being in this stuck place, however, wouldn't it be great if you could shorten the process and breakthrough right now? That's what I facilitate in my clients. Common issues I work with: phobias, motivation challenges, learning issues, career changes, public speaking, peak performance in the arts/sports, creative blocks for artists/writers, etc.
