Grace helped me organize my family’s small business office from beginning to end. We were lacking an organizational system, much of it including paperwork that had not been gone through in decades. Grace was an amazing help! She helped me come up with ideas on a new filing system, advice on what documents needed to be filed, archived or shredded. She then helped me implement and complete the project. She also helped me when we eventually moved office spaces and how to figure out the layout and the best way to organize our new space. She also was very knowledgeable on what office supplies would help us best. I really enjoyed working with her and our office looks and functions so much better!

I’m so glad I decided to hire Grace to help me organize my new very small apartment. I moved from a huge house and downsizing was downright scary— until I called and spoke with Grace. Turns out she was familiar with the layout of my new 1-BR space and was encouraging throughout our initial phone conversation and in our four hours of working together. Grace walked the space with me, asked me about my personal style and favorite activities before she helped me unpack boxes, and made creative functional suggestions — with accurate measurements—for placing my frequently used items and storage ideas for access to less frequently used items. At the end of our time, Grace left with with a list of items for purchase and I plan to take her advice. So, thank you, Grace Organizing! Thanks to you a daunting long task turned into a creative fun educational experience. I am so happy. It was a real treat to work with you and I’m glad I allowed myself to ask for your assistance. I plan to add photos when I’m done.
What a life saver! Grace changed my home office, closets, and kitchen into livable intuitive spaces. Transitioning from an out-of-the-house office to an at-home lifestyle was very challenging. I felt overwhelmed by my lack of space. Turns out I had space, I just wasn’t using it effectively. I thought I was going to have to buy new furniture and storage solutions. I didn’t! Grace was able to envision my spaces in ways I never imagined. She asked me questions about how I use the space and tailored everything just for me. I had no idea I had so much space! Grace is amazing! I highly recommend her organizing services -- she is absolutely worth the investment. She helped me clean up and organize my basement and my large living room closet. I moved from a condo many years ago to a much smaller cottage, and then I ran a business out of my home for 12 years. Over the years, my stuff filled every bit of storage space in the cottage. I use a wheelchair and can't get down to the basement, but Grace videotaped a lot of the sorting process live, which gave me the opportunity to participate in deciding what to keep and what to toss. She is very efficient and is able to focus intensely on sorting for long periods, getting a lot done in the time she spends on a project, She is also kind and gentle in her demeanor and is very nice to work with. Before we started, she suggested that I buy a shelf unit and some plastic storage tubs; I appreciated that she gave me specific recommendations for sizes to get so that I had the most useful items on hand when we began. I have been wanting to dig into this homeorganization project for years, and I am very glad that I finally called Grace. I could not have done this work without her help. I'm grateful to everyone who wrote reviews for Grace because reading them helped nudge me to call her, and the reviews are so right! She is a gem.

I work in 4-6 hour sessions, and have special package pricing for clients on a budget!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 30-minute, no pressure/obligation phone consultation. I listen, ask questions, then explain the process. If it seems like a good fit, we schedule a first session and take it from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Professional Organizer for over 16 years. I have worked with a variety of clients and situations, attended many classes and workshops, been a member of the National Association and voraciously acquire any and all information I can find about organizing.
