With his colleague/assistant Jim, Wily Figueiredo of Blue Sky Plumbing successfully repaired issues with three of our house's sinks in less than an an hour, at a very reasonable service price: 1. Replaced a leaking cartridge in our Pfister kitchen sink faucet. He removed a tightly-stuck plastic retaining nut/collar, something I was unable to accomplish on my own after repeated tries, and installed the new cartridge and brass retaining nut. (He also tapped threads to use a screw he had available, on reassembly of the top control arm, since the original screw head had been stripped.) 2. Replaced the aerator on a bathroom sink, where the water flow was skewed and erratic. After replacement, the flow is now uniform and straight. 3. Checked for leaks in a second bathroom sink. He identified that the slow dripping leak was due to debris in the aerator rather than due to leaks in the faucet valve stems. After he cleaned it, that leak stopped. He also showed me how to remove the valve stems, if needed in the future. He cautioned that the old, rigid supply lines under the vanities are likely brittle, and for that reason we might need to shut off house water at the meter, rather than using the shutoff valves at the sink. Some replacements may come with new, flexible supply lines, and with others, we might need to buy those separately. 4. Volunteered to remove moldy caulk from around that bathroom sink, and replace it with GE silicone calk we had on hand, with a 10-year warranty against mold. The removal and caulking job was done efficiently and well. He also arrived on schedule. And as well, he'd called and left a message (which I'd missed) that he could arrive earlier, if that were feasible, since he finished a nearby job faster than expected.

Willie came right over to check my faucet and diagnosed it at no cost. I needed a new faucet head and was able to replace it myself. He sent a worker over to separately snake my garbage disposal, and they did an amazing and thorough job which had been clogged up for some time. Willie and Blue Sky will be my go to for any plumbing needs!
