Rev Saundra was excellent! She was patient, kind, thoughtful, understanding, and flexible. She completely embraced and accommodated the unique nuances of our multi-cultural ceremony. She took time to study and learn ancient san-san-kudo rituals without being prompted. She also reminded us of everything that needed to be done-- from our marriage license and vows, to hugging and kissing our parents at the alter when we were too busy or preoccupied to think about such details. We were looking for a "day of" coordinator for our wedding...so I started looking on Thumbtack for help. After reading reviews on Michael and his profile, we met up at a local coffee shop to talk about what our needs were and if he could do it. I had a great feeling about him right then...I even showed him our card table ideas and wedding favors, and he gave me better ideas of how to set them up (talk about "thinking outside the box!"). Up until the BIG day, he kept in touch, asked how things were going and if I needed any help....I so much appreciated these messages being the nervous bride! The day of, he was punctual, was able to get through a "check list" I made him regarding set up and timing...and, most importantly, he kept me calm! If any "hiccup" came up, he fixed it in an instant! I truly believe our wedding ran smoothly and on time, thanks to Michael! I would definitely hire him again for any party planning/coordinating needs...or even floral needs (he is a great florist, too!) Thank you so much, Michael! I don't know what I would have done without you!

Finding a stylist for my wedding was probably the most surprisingly difficult part of the planning process. We wanted someone to come to our home, but we also couldn't afford to pay wedding premium prices. Most of the stylists I contacted charged over double for the bride's hair and makeup styling, but thankfully Teresa does not! She and her assistant did a fantastic job on everyone's hair and make-up- from Grandma to the bridesmaids. She asked for pictures for everyone's desired hair-dos, and everyone was pleased with her work. I have a seriously crazy amount of hair, and Teresa pulled it into a gorgeous french twist that didn't budge all night. She was very receptive to feedback, and was very reliable, calm, and easy to work with. Thanks Teresa!

Paul has catered a couple of events for us. He catered my brothers wedding of over 100 people. The food was outstanding, the price was a steal and he brought boxes for people to take home leftovers. He has also catered a weekend event and provided breakfast lunch and dinner for a group of over 25 for 3 days. He is a great guy and cooks great food. You can feel the love.

Alisa was hired to cater our wedding of 35 guests at a private residence. She went above and beyond call of duty with cocktails, appetizers, the dinner, and setting up, breaking down the event. She arrived early to set up for both the ceremony and the dinner, and provided the cocktails and beer which received reave reviews from the guests. For the appetizers, she provided polenta bites and bruschetta in keeping with our Italian menu and both were really tasty. The dinner menu consisted of a caesar salad with grilled salmon, tomato bisque, and a cappellacci di zucca; all were truly delicious. She cleaned up the same night, making it easy for us to enjoy the kitchen the next morning for breakfast. If I were to host another event, I would hire Alisa in a heartbeat.

Anna Marie was my Wedding Coordinator for my September 2016 nuptials. I had spoken to her months prior and ended up hiring her kind of late in the wedding game, I am SO LUCKY she had my date available. Anna Marie was amazing! I needed staff and a bartender for my event and was sick of inquiring around, she was able to provide staff and they were WONDERFUL! She did a walk through at the venue with me a week prior to the event and put me right at ease, she even met me late the night before my wedding for wedding item drop off so I had more time to get some items together. The weeks prior to my wedding she was wonderful receiving info and asking questions making sure she has everything. The day of my wedding was more than I could ever ask for. Anna Marie is a perfectionist, she has an amazing attention to detail and I did not have to worry about ONE thing. The staff she had setting up with her (that I did hire though her) were JUST as sweet / warm / professional / and hard working. They would ask me a few questions to ensure that I was ok with some last min changes but after seeing them work I seriously trusted them to make the best decisions and they DID 100%! My guests were taken care of, my wedding decorations were amazing and exactly how I wanted them. Everything she touched went off without a hitch. I cannot say enough good things about Anna Marie. I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends or to use her again for events. Every person at my wedding thanked me for having such a professional taking care of everything, they said that Anna Marie was a delight and she truly is. Anna Marie if you are reading this, thank you for making the most stressful day of my life into a day that I just sat back and relaxed. I remember and enjoyed SO many special moments that I would not have had the opportunity to if I didn’t have you running the show. Vinnia was fabulous! She was so sweet and super helpful. She had no trouble coming to my home and hotel for my Engagement Photoshoot and wedding. She always checked in to see if I liked my makeup. She does amazing hair and makeup! She really knows to how work with your facial features and hair texture. My hair and makeup lasted from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on my wedding night! I will definitely call Vinnia the next time I need my hair or makeup done. I highly recommend her!

Matt was the sole event designer for my wedding, and I have to say, he is one of the most talented people I have ever worked with. He was patient with me during the entire planning process, always listened to my ideas, and offered better solutions where necessary. Forsyth Designs took care of my flowers, decor orders / rentals, ceremony and reception setup, and were the first point of contact for all vendors day of. Having planned and produced so many events flawlessly, he did all of this with ease, and no task seemed to be out of his reach. I would highly recommend Forsyth Designs for your wedding decor and flowers. Very easy to work with, and Matt is a really great person that you will want to be a part of your BIG day. I would highly recommend LadyMarry, I was travelling from overseas for my wedding and Birte could not have been more helpful, any advice I required she happily gave, responded to all my e mails in a timely manner. April arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. We had two brides in our wedding party and she did an incredible job listening to what we wanted and executing it perfectly. She left us with tips on how to refresh the look as the day went on since we had about 6 hours between finishing our hair and the start of the ceremony. She did such a great job we didn’t even have to touch up our hair! I would hire April again and recommend her to anyone interested! She was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had and addressed any concerns that came up.

Velina was the designer of my wedding this summer and it was PHENOMENAL. Velina did our invitations, of all our wedding decor, and even our persian ceremony alter (called Sofreh Aghd). Velina and I spoked in detail about what I was hoping for and what I wanted, and she created a wedding theme/vibe that was beyond what I had even dreamed. Her attention to detail, her care for every little component was amazing and we cannot thank her enough for the most special day ever.

Heidi and Ashton were the perfect day-of wedding coordinators. When we arrived at the site on our wedding day, everything was beautifully set up as if by magic. Gracefully and unobtrusively, they made everything happen. They arranged flowers, set up the wedding altar, wrangled vendors, and guided guests through the day’s various phases (ceremony, reception, toasts). They even served us cake and champagne. Our guests remarked on how “effortless” the wedding seemed; this is largely due to Birminkeley’s hard work! Birminkeley also helped plan our wedding. They visited the venue with us and talked us through everything from where to seat the guests to how many tablecloths to order. Later, they helped us search for wedding vendors. Despite our tight timeline (~2 months), they found us a wonderful photographer, rental company, and makeup artist. They were persistent and tenacious in making sure the vendors would adhere to our venue’s strict requirements. In addition to being very capable, flexible, and affordable, Heidi and Ashton are very pleasant to work with. Their calmness and perseverance helped us get through a very stressful time!
