I am so glad we chose Alpa as our henna artist for my family's Mehendi party of 60 people. She brought a partner with her and they were not only accommodating to our needs, but also went above and beyond with their service. Even though our party was loud and a bit hectic, they put their heads down and did our guests' mehendi quickly and gracefully, and even offered to sit on our decorated floor for pictures. Alpa is reliable, organized, punctual, and kind. I would 100% reach out to her for any future needs and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a henna artist

We took dancelessons from Alpa for our first dance at our wedding reception. She choreographed the whole thing and even asked us for our input and offered to let us change things based on comfort and preference. She did a great job though and me being the control freak that I am, I'm surprised that I didn't have a single change request! Let me stress that neither one of us are dancers and I was very worried about doing the dance in front of so many of our friends and family. But Alpa was so patient with us and made us feel so comfortable. We feel like we've known her for years yet we just met her a couple weeks ago! We learned the dance in two lessons and we will be back for our final lesson next week just to practice in front of her with my 25 lb lehenga and heels. If you need dancelessons of any kind, she is your girl! Thank you, Alpa! We are so thrilled that you will be a part of our big day in such a big way.

I had a Diwali party at my house and i hired alpa for an hour of Bollywood dancing and it was the most fun experience ever. Alpa was very helpful and communicated well about the arrangements she would need and was very flexible . All my friends and guests at the party enjoyed dancing to the songs she choose , they were very peppy party numbers . The steps she taught us were simple and she made everyone very comfortable and made sure everyone had fun doing the dance. I would definitely recommend her.

Alpa did a great job with both henna and a dancelesson at my Mehndi party. There were many non-desi people and she was great at introducing them to a few Bollywood dance moves and to give them some beautiful henna designs. Thank you, Alpa!

My pricing depends on individual needs. However, I am always open to discuss the rates and negotiate depending up on client's needs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to find out what their exact needs are and I have the initial conversation with what their needs are and my rates. From there I come up with ideas of how I will teach and for henna tattoo figure out logistics.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching, choreographing and performing bollywood dance for more than 15 years now. I have several competition titles and have taught many diverse groups of all ages. For henna tattoo I have been doing Henna for more than 10 years and all my clients have always been very happy with me.
