Introduction

This is a passion of mine, creating and perfecting spaces for people who will create memories in them. A lot of times, people have a particular style, but I'm more interested in learning what YOUR style is. Do you hate floral patterns? Do you envy people who maintain hardwoods? Are you more into bold colors or natural tones? These things are important for me to create something specific for you. I'm also very different, because I understand that having an organized and beautiful home sets me apart as a designer... and I specialize in BOTH. I enjoy the pictures I get a couple months later of the birthday that was celebrated in a transformed space, or the thanksgiving that took place that you never knew you had the space for. Those are the moments that I live for - helping make a way for people to create perfect memories in perfect spaces that work for them.

Where do I begin? My home had gotten out of my control and I needed professional help. I found Lindsay and contacted her. She responded promptly, and was even willing to conduct our planning over email as I wanted to surprise my husband and daughter with a fresh, clean downstairs while they were out of town. Lindsay arrived at 8 sharp with her supplies in hand and ready to get to work. I felt as though my home was an embarrassment, but she kept reassuring me that it was manageable and not as bad as it seemed to me. She never once made me feel like a failure. In two four hour shifts we worked together to get it done, though she was more than willing to do it all herself. I was amazed at how much was accomplished just after the first day! I have been able to keep up on the clutter, have implemented her suggestions, and look forward to having her back for the next stage! I tell everyone what a liberating and fulfilling experience it was. I now feel comfortable having company, which I hadn't done for years. Thank you, Lindsay!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been very good about organizing and decorating spaces. Since I was young, I was always the "go to" help for my parents' home decor decisions. I enjoyed it so much, that I maintained it as a hobby for years and finally decided to do it as a career.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take your time. Interview them. Find someone who you relate with and don't be afraid to speak up. A lot of times people get nervous. But you are spending a lot of money on these services and is important that you get exactly what you want.
