John was very prompt with responding to my request and was able to accommodate me the next day. He was great to work with during the shoot and was professional and courteous, and put me at ease. He took plenty of shots and it was hard to pick the final images. He did touch ups on the ones that I selected. The resulting portrait is very professional and perfect for business. Highly recommended.

the project was to take 3 highly specific, animated views of a person with superb technical skills who was not accustomed to being photographed. John showed him how to be appealing and engaging- the 2 main goals - and produced great options for us, exactly as we'd hoped. The personality of the individual and the photographer were both wonderfully evident in these images.

John took a series of formal "head shots" for my professional use. He was a joy to work with! I met him at his very comfortable home-studio, where he immediately put me at ease and carefully listened to my needs. He offered suggestions as we did the shoot and he is obviously a consummate professional and dedicated to pleasing the customer. The end results were excellent and I am completely delighted with John's work and the experience of having him do a photo shoot. I see by examining his website that he is extremely capable (which motivated me to select him in the first place) and that he has done large commercial and very impressive jobs elsewhere. I will be certain to recommend him most highly to my colleagues and to our Company in San Francisco.
