Before beginning his drawings, he interviewed us to make sure his project would match our vision and lifestyle. Our landscape is very low maintenance and great on water conservation. In California, that is essential. The color scheme of the plants, rock, and hard scape matched perfectly with our house. Plus, the artistic design of the brick that lined the plants, and the brick patterns that were interspersed with the stamped concrete contributed to the great curb appeal. Elder and his talented crew are very professional, reliable, and are a pleasure to work with. What sets him apart from the typical landscape designer, is that he has an Architectural, Landscape, and Civil Engineering background. Therefore, from choosing the plants, understanding the soil and environmental conditions, to the technical designs, underground and street level, I consider him to be the on par with the highly upscale developers.
