What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack charges $25-$75 per lead here, a cost I have to work into my bid. In addition to that my fees are higher than average due to specialty plant knowledge, communication skills, and reliability.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to walk the job whenever possible, then I give an estimate and schedule the work. I always notify the customer the day before to confirm, as well as upon arrival or leaving job site.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2 year herbal course, 5 years building and maintaining vegtable beds, turned my concrete yard into an urban homestead.
