We have a cottage to rent out that needed a bathroom remodel. Sam was very quick to respond to our request for quote. He came out and started work right away after the contract was accepted. Sam is not the cheapest contractor we've worked with, but he is very professional and doesn't waste time since he charges by the job. He gets the help he needs to get it done and is communicative throughout the project so that he could hit his target completion date. He shows up on time, which is not always the case when dealing with contractors. He encountered issues with how the plumbing was originally installed and instead of just leaving a potential problem, he quoted the fix separately. As work is completed, Sam gets the client to look at what is accomplished and makes sure it is accepted. I definitely would call Sam first with our next project.

We had lots of work done. 2 Bathroom remodels (1 dwn stairs w/ shower, 1 upstairs w/bath) he fixed flooring issues in other rooms, new doors & framing, floorboards, just a lot of work! & he put all the little details into the job you don't really think about, but those details give it that really nice finish. He's very thorough. (Ex)- after texturing the bathroom he noticed the utility room (adjacent room) had chew marks on the wall from our dog when he was teething...Barry used the left over texture to patch the wall! Most contractors would throw the extra materials in the truck and keep moving. Its those little things that made this experience great, & my house is awesome now, because you can't help but notice the craftsmanship of the work inside. I wish i could post before & after pictures.

I found J to be very honest, capable and enthusiastic. He was the first contractor to show interest in our project. He actually took the time to come to our place and inspect the proposed project first hand. He helped us come up with alternative design concepts and was quick and efficient in providing his bid.

SW Construction has been doing repairs on our flip houses, and rentals for nearly 10 years. They are honest, fair priced and hard working. You can find cheaper work if you look but you will not get the quality of work Scott and his team provide. They often times have been able to save me thousands of dollars by repairing issues that other contractors wanted to demo and build new. It's never about what is best for SW Constructions profit, but what is the best decision for me as the home owner. I can always trust they will do what is in my best interest. One of my pet peeves is a messy construction site. The thing I love most about them is they leave a clean tidy work site at the end of each day.

BC General Contractor have honored every verbal commitment they have made regarding approximately 4,000 sq. feet. The job was a 50 year old flat roof with numerous drainage problems and leaks. (A flat roof is harder to make waterproof as opposed to a sloped roof. My 0pinion). I would hire BC General Contractor again and would recomend to others

Working with Dennis and the entire Spectrum One team was an absolute pleasure. We had heard horror stories about kitchen remodels gone wrong, and were nervous about taking on this remodel. Dennis helped us through each step in the process. Every day, the team showed up on time and made progress. The whole project (knocking down a wall to open the kitchen to the dining room, installing new floors, counters, backslash, appliances, creating a new pantry, and re-doing a bathroom) took just over four weeks. Their price was in line with other contractors we talked to, but the quality, transparency, and efficiency were top notch. I would highly recommend Spectrum One, and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again in the future.

I contacted Jeff on Thumbtack after having several contractors not show up for a fairly simple job on a sprinkler head repair. Not only did he respond quickly but came out the very next day. He was prompt, courteous, efficiant and eventhough he travelled from Antelope to Elk Grove, the cost was within reason. We will DEFINITELY use his service again when we have more work for him! Thanks Jeff!!

I meet with Brian today. My need is to convert a tub/shower to a shower only for my son who will be returning from a deployment. My project changed after contacting Insight and I sent a message to say I had additional needs. Quick response which is always helpful. Brian did show and showed on time. He gave me many options to keep the project price under control. I can purchase all materials or he can purchase for me. I like the options. He gave me an overview and took time to answer my questions. I am waiting his estimate currently. So many Contractors do not show or its not worth their time yet they do not let the customer know that is the situation. I feel Brian will respond with an estimate as promised. I am really most impressed with Brian and hope I have found a contractor that I can use long term future projects :).

Shawn Boelman is an honest, skilled craftsman who works within budget and on time! I fully recommend him. I have known Shawn for several years. He first came to my home as a subcontractor on a house expansion project. His work ethic, courtesy, and attention to the job were superior. Since completion of the initial project, I have directly hired Shawn to complete smaller jobs on my property. In every case, Shawn told me in advance how long the job would take, what costs were involved, and fulfilled my expectations. For just about any future project that I needed skilled help, I would hire Shawn Boelman. You should too!

I hired Solid General Construction to build an attached 1050 sq ft garage with a gable roof providing attic space via a staircase. In addition, we added a mudroom with half bath and made the previous owner's garage conversion permit legal. We were very happy with the finished product and really were pleased with all the work done by Nick and Zack and their selected subcontractors. This was a large project for Nick and he was totally dedicated to it during it's 3 month duration. He was not trying to juggle several projects at the same time which I appreciated and while he was on-site he spent his time working hard. Nick went out of his way to do little things to have the best possible product, like adding trim and windowsills in the garage, when he really did not have to. He also bought quality building materials when he could have gone for a cheaper alternative. At the end of the day when you go into these projects you should pick a contractor you can trust. Nick and his brother Zack are good guys; I had complete trust in them to get the job done right at a fair price.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
