I cannot say enough about Thinque Prep and Joyee Lin. He is dedicated to his students success and does a very thorough job of preparing them for the ACT or SAT test. My son, Zack, who is very bright but requires a lot of patience worked with Joyee over the summer and brought his composite ACT score up from 30 to 33. His math score increased a full 4 pts. and he scored a 35 in English. Thinque Prep has other services related to tutoring and college application preparation. Zack will be working with Joyee on his college application essays. Joyee is in California and we are in Texas but this was never an issue as the sessions are done via video chat. The office manager Jen was great to work with and the appointment process was easy to navigate. I found the rates to be very competitive for like services. If there was a way to give extra stars I would!!
Awesome teacher😀. We started out with lessons for my small children Elsa made learning so much fun for them with games and post-it's throughout the house. My children learned quickly and we fluent before they took Spanish in school. So impressed with Elsa I later hired Elsa to teach my husband and I Spanish. Elsa's approach helped us also learn quickly. We love her she is kind, patient and so much fun. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Spanish. Wally P
Mrs.Khan is awesome! She always has a lot of different books and stuff for each lesson. Because of her great experience and knowledge every lesson is interesting and informative. I'm very greatful to her!
When I came to the English lesson I barely understood English. Every day my speech was getting better and better. We understood each other. Wonderful Teacher:) Thank You Linda!
My family is truly happy with my son home Spanish lessons. Nuria is an amazing teacher. My son loves his lessons and has fun. He is excited to learn and can't wait for his next lesson. You won't be disappointed.
I spent a lot of time looking for tutors for my 2 daughters and it was hard to find someone who could help 2 kids in one day. One of my daughters is ADHD and the other is behind in school. He also explained to me what my ADHD child should eat and shouldn't eat to balance and to help her focus. He is very knowledgeable with the topics he teaches and spends extra time as needed to make sure my children understood and tries to finished up homework. He is caring and very patient. Very good tutor.
Sheehan worked as my English tutor in Sydney. She worked so hard and well prepared for every single tutorial. Thanks for her help , I eventually passed the test. Highly recommended.
Miss Marguerite is a great piano teacher. She approaches her music lessons through a variety of techniques and methods that always keeps our daughter engaged. She teaches her music theory, music appreciation, rhythm, play by ear and the ability to read music. She differentiates the needs of each of her students and taps into their styles and preferences. Our daughter has learned a lot under her tutelage.
She is great! I was in need of a SAT english tutor in order to compete for a spot at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She showed up on time and if needed would stay extra to make sure I actually improved. I was extremely confident heading into my test and was accepted into West Point. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of any help with english. In addition, she helped me with writing a letter to West Point on why I want to attend. She is great!!!
Whenever I have a high stakes assignment, I take it to Oliver. He never disappoints. Whether its a History DBQ, an English literary analysis, or a letter of recommendation, Oliver makes it better. His analytical mind and command of the language are untouchable.
Everything was great. The process was super easy from beginning to end. The instructor helped me meet my academic needs.
I recommend my teacher of English, because she is professional and patient. I like how she develops classes in a light and funny way. I never feel ashamed to speak!
I do not have a business, but I am excellent in matters of reading and writing, and very willing and able to assist those in need.
Sue Knight was always very helpful, friendly and professional. Her teaching skills are exceptional.
I used to be intermediate level of English but after tutoring, I feel that my English improved to an advanced level. I can more properly use grammar in speech and in sentences. I am happy to say that I am now going to college and I really recommend tutoring. My experience was really good.
I have lived and taught English abroad in Costa Rica and Brazil, as well as traveled throughout Europe and South America. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. For the past couple years, I have been teaching kids classes (as well as tutoring adults) anything from creative writing to art, Spanish and geography. I am a very enthusiastic and creative person, which helps me bring very unique and fun activities to class. I always accommodate my lessons based on the student's level and specific need or interest just like for example, if you need to learn English for business or work or perhaps you need to learn some conversational Spanish for traveling. Everyone is unique so I like to make all of my lessons unique as well. No matter what, we always have a good time!
I offer music lessons for guitar and piano and in English and Spanish. I do different styles for different levels and for fun or to make a career.
