- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become an instructor in loving memory of my Father after having had 17 years to spend with him because of the actions of one woman, the first responder who performed CPR on my Father until emergency responders arrived. My father became one in the first generation of those who received implanted defibrillators after his attack and went on living a healthy productive quality of life. My Father was a Great man, loving husband of 57 years and Father that compares to none. In memory of my Father and as a result of one woman and her knowledge and actions on that day. By being an Instructor I hope to empower others with this skill and further educate those on new and updated information needed to improve on the industries standards. I enjoy the opportunity to work with others and meet new and interesting people as a result of this profession.
