- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always thought it was amazing how much brides spent on their floral arrangements and bouquets that often wilted during the ceremony. Afterwards, the flowers were thrown away. I thought, why not faux! I loved adding unique elements and knowing that they could be used afterwards or kept as a keepsake. So, when I got married I did my wedding with faux flowers and people absolutely LOVED them. That is when I started designing for other brides.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently, a bride contacted me less than one month before her wedding. She explained she wanted a rustic, vintage and unique flare to her classic fall wedding. I completed her order and afterwards she wrote the most sweet note about how I made her wedding bouquets exactly how she envisioned them! I was so happy that she was happy and that's one reason why I do my line of design.
