I am a sophisticated and modern One Man Solo Band covering a wide selection of music, including Pop/Rock/R&B/HipHop/Standards/Latin/Brazilian. I have received accolades from industry stars like Sir Paul McCartney, Drake, Lionel Richie, Jimmy Fallon and many others and I feel blessed and honored to be working an average of six nights a week. OMG He was very professional and delivered a quality performance. A one man show worth every dollar spent. I had a very small group but he performed like he had thousands watching. Good sense of humor and can sing anything. I am a musician and familiar with great talent. His disposition was great as it felt like I’ve known him for years though we just met. Equally comfortable setting the mood in the background or performing center stage as the main event, Hugo is a versatile musician who will elevate any party. Not only is he an incredibly talented performer, he is a wonderful person to work with, adding special touches such as working with us ahead of time on the set list, wearing a Hawaiian shirt to match the theme, and bringing a spare guitar so our friend could play on stage with him. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is pretty standard and an inviting alternative to the higher cost of hiring a full band, and I'm always willing to work within a client's budget and additionally, I provide all the elaborate equipment I need including a sound system for my performance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we've agreed to work together, I provide a short entertainment agreement and request a 50% deposit. I love catering to the clients specific needs so I usually send them my extensive 1000 plus song lists and encourage them to browse through and pick out favorite songs for their event. I also ask if there're any special songs that they would like me to learn and add to the their play list. I like to re-connect a few days before the event and make sure I'm aware of any late detail changes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing professionally for decades in a wide variety of settings and for many diverse occasions including, weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, Holiday parties, corporate events, house concerts and much more.
I usually cater to people who may be looking for a big rich sound produced by one person with the ability to regulate the volume and squeeze into a smaller area, as apposed to a band setting with live drums where space and volume may be a challenge.
