Yifat Block, LCSW

Introduction: Hello, my name is Yifat Block, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I obtained my masters degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Southern California, and I have a private practice in Redondo Beach. I am currently working on my doctorate at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. My therapy addresses life's challenges, including work stressors, body image, struggles with food, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. I also work with clients in times of transition, such as moving, graduation, marriage, divorce, grief and loss. Because my background is in social work, I deeply value the inherent worth in every individual, and I approach therapy with empathy and support. I work to provide a safe environment that allows my clients a place for self-realization and growth. I emphasize working with my clients' strengths, and I help clients better understand their struggles and build positive coping skills. I provide individual, couple, family and group counseling.
