Chef Julia was great teaching my two teenagers how to make a balanced dinner. She got our feedback on what to prepare and then provided recipes ahead of our cooking class to confirm the selections. She didn’t just go through preparing a recipe, she actually teaches about the science of cooking, lessons that we can carry forward in whatever we cook. She’s very pleasant, good at multi-tasking and balancing going back and forth between the two kids and what they were working on. We all had fun and enjoyed a nice dinner at the end.

I can’t recommend Julia highly enough as a cooking instructor. I was looking for someone patient and encouraging to help my son build confidence and basic skills in the kitchen, and Julia was the perfect fit.

She brought a combination of expertise, professionalism, and a warm, engaging personality to every lesson. Her genuine passion for teaching made a big impression, and she and my son connected right away. Over just five weeks, he learned far more than I expected—cooking a variety of meals and desserts, and even showing new enthusiasm for helping out in the kitchen.

If there was a 6+ star rating for Chef Julia I would definitely give her that. I hired Chef Julia for a baking lesson for my 9 yr old granddaughter. What a wonderful time we had. We learned so many things about baking. The final result was 2 doz cupcakes from scratch…yummy. I’ll never buy a box mix again. Delicious and beautiful…Julia taught my granddaughter and me some fabulous ideas to elevate any frosted cupcake. What a win this was. Grandma got an A+ for hiring her and granddaughter has a real appreciation for making beautifully decorated cupcakes. Thank you Julia.
