Review is for services received on August 7, 2025 for a short notice vintage baby grand piano move within 5 miles with stairs in both locations. 3 big takeaways: responsive, professional and fair pricing for the Peninsula. I had the opportunity to receive a baby grand piano and was challenged with 3 things: cost, earliest move date/time, and if the piano would still be available. I found Two Friends Movers with a quick search on Google via Thumbtack app at 11pm and a representative reached out the very next day at 8am with a rough quote. I called back and we ironed out the details within the hour. They were able to help me move the same day with less than 1 hour notice of the move! I was so impressed from end to end the support they provided. They helped move our vintage baby grand piano from a 3-story SF home (with over 40 steps) to Daly City (3 steps). They came prepared with packing materials, tools detach and reattach the legs and sheet stand etc - and rugs to cover my floors during drop off. Fair pricing because of the crew size required with a base rate plus additional charges for stairs and complexity of the stair space. The previous piano owners also complemented their professionalism. Rockstar crew led by Jorge!

I can’t say enough good things about Two Friends Moving. From my first inquiry to the day before they arrive. My contact Richard was obliging in answering all my numerous questions and made sure everything went according to plan. The movers Marco and his teammate (I apologize but I forgot the other man’s name) were incredible!!! They worked like dogs from the moment they got here to 7 1/2 hours later. They were constantly packing with utmost care. They must have made 60 trips back-and-forth from my old apartment to the new one zig-zagging through the hallways and down the elevator to the one was moving to. Again they unpacked carefully and put everything away. They were very patient with me about arranging my furniture. They are fabulous professionals and very kind people and the move they did was beyond expectation. Well done! Many thanks to the whole team!!!

Our hourly rates $150an hour for 2 movers and truck $180 an hour for 3 movers and truck $245 an hour for 4 movers and truck If you need more than 4 movers ask for our specials MINIMUM CHARGE OF 3 HOURS This hourly rate includes: Local drive under 40 miles Wrapping furniture Disassembly and reassembly furniture Fully equipped truck Free use of wardrobe boxes. We charge packing supplies for separate if may need it
