Jose really helped me in an urgent situation. The first rains of the year hit the day before the Christmas holiday, and this is when we discovered last year's new furnace vents did not have a functional long-term solution through the roof. Jose responded within a few minutes of me posting on Thumbtack. He clicked on the link to my photos and asked a few questions about the issue. He provided an estimate up front and a date to fix, basically the next break predicted for the rain. He showed up 10 minutes early. He made sure he has all the proper materials. He replaced the silly old rubber boots with metal flashing boots, and then applied a layer of asphalt paper covering the flashing all the way up to the roof peak. The whole job took about three hours.
