In my 9 years teaching music I have prioritized the student experience more than anything else. Everyone has unique goals when it comes to learning music and it is my purpose to help you realize those goals as efficiently as possible. I transcribe music from your favorite songs whether that be from an album, the radio, a movie soundtrack, a game, etc.; I want to ensure that you are able to get the most of out of music lessons. Along the way, I teach important fundamentals and technique I've developed in my 21 years of playing and performance but your goals are my priority. I'm well versed in a large variety of styles starting with a degree in classical guitar but also having experience in jazz, rock, blues, R&B, hip-hop, country, funk, etc.

Sean is an excellent guitar teacher, in a private lesson and in a group setting. I have had the pleasure of knowing Sean for two years now, since he was hired as the group guitar teacher for the children’s music program I lead. It was obvious right away that he would be the perfect fit. Students like and can relate to him, he is friendly and comes up with the best and most inspiring music arrangements for the students that they enjoy playing. He meets every student where they are at the moment musically and builds on it, thoughtfully and methodically. I have also had the pleasure of observing Sean teach private lessons, as my son’s guitar teacher. I saw huge improvements in my son’s confidence and musicality right away.
