I couldn’t be any happier with the progress we’ve made since starting training with Josue at Elevated Canine Academy. Before coming here, we had spent over 10 sessions with another trainer and saw little to no improvement, which was frustrating and discouraging, especially after spending so much money. After just one session with Josue, we saw an immediate difference in our dog’s behavior—it was truly impressive. I’ll admit I was hesitant about using the e-collar at first, but seeing how Josue applied it with such care and precision during the session completely changed my perspective. With a strong dog like ours, I now understand how essential it is as a training tool when used correctly. Josue clearly has a passion for what he does and genuinely cares about achieving the best outcome for both the dog and the owner. We had been convinced our dog was aggressive, but Josue helped us realize he was actually just reactive and very protective. Now that we’re making great progress with obedience and reactivity, we’re excited to eventually move on to protection training and bite work with our Shepard and get our dachshund into training as well. The transformation so far has been amazing, and we’re beyond grateful for Josue’s expertise and dedication.
