John has been doing a great job with our Puppy (Rottweiler). It's been amazing how he commands her attention and already has her performing basic tasks (sit, lay down, stay, etc.). Clearly, John loves dogs and has a talent for working with them. Our Puppy gets excited as soon as she sees him arrive - he makes learning fun!! Strongly recommend -- Dog-Skool -- for your dog's training needs.Oct 7, 2016Verified
John is calm, confident and professional. He is amazing! Dog training is as much about training the owners as it is training the dog. He explains how dogs think and how we communicate with them. Best money I've spent in a while. I'd highly recommend this trainer!Sep 13, 2016Verified

Met John this past Saturday for our 8 month old puppies 1st lesson. We were so impressed, John gave us so many tips and showed us how to positively reinforce our puppies behaviors!! We have been practicing and see that she is a very different puppy already! John will be back in 2 weeks and we are looking forward to future lessons and our Dogo being a part of our family for many years to come! Thank you John!!Oct 8, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Because no two dogs are the same and some behaviors are more difficult or require more resources, each case is unique. I work with the client and provide an agreed upon price before starting work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first step is a free phone consultation where I will ask specific questions about the dog and people involved. This will allow me to analyze the situation to get to the root of the problem and then come up with a plan to solve it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly and have worked with and studied under some of the best trainers in the area. I am constantly studying the newest research in animal behavior and attending seminars and conferences.
