I am a very social, artistic & adventurous person, and I love photographing others and have been working my business for 5 years now. I focus on individual, maternity, couples, families, engagements and wedding/elopement portraits. I capture candid moments in between of posed moments but most importantly capturing your beauty & emotions that you feel during our time together. I take what I do as an art, finding ways to be creative, get different angles & capture you in the setting as best as I can. My edits are slightly warm with high contrast and sharpness, true tone and true to color and I remove unwanted background distractions, smoothen the skin, and remove blemishes. For outdoors sessions I am available Friday's & Saturdays only morning time or around sunset time. I photograph elopements & weddings any time and for elopements morning or sunset time during the week might work for me. Try to inquire at least 4 weeks in advance for the best availability (especially for weekends). However I may be able to book last minute sessions as I do leave every other weekend on my calendar available. I know of many beautiful places in California, I go to beaches, the snow, lakes, mountains, deserts, sand dunes, National parks & cities. I do not have a studio but studio sessions can be booked at any studio for rent in Riverside or Los Angeles area but I can also travel to homes for in home sessions. These sessions can take place in the morning till noon. You are responsible for paying the rental fees. I serve Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Orange County, San diego County & LA county but can travel anywhere in California and out of state/out of the country. I have traveled to Europe 3 times in my life & know of lots of beautiful places that I would love to photograph lovely people at especially In Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, & Switzerland. We had a great experience with Katherine! She was very professional and responsive. She kept the communication going all the way up to the day of our photo shoot. She did a photo shoot for my husband’s and my 15th anniversary♥️. The pictures turned out amazing!
She had forgotten the lanterns on her way to the photo shoot and she knew I really wanted pictures with the lanterns so she went out of her way and picked up 2 real lanterns at the local Ace hardware store! We had our pictures taken up at lake Gregory. And the pictures she took with the lanterns are my favorite!
We wanted pictures with a giant cupcake, a champagne opening pictures, and photos of me holding a scarf blowing in the wind. She was very supportive and excited about taking those pictures!
All of the pictures turned out amazing! Thank you Katherine for the exceptional job that you did for us! ♥️

We had a wonderful experience with Katherine! She under promised and over delivered! She was so generous with her time and deliverables. I was coming from out of state and a little bit nervous to hire someone I’ve never met, but she was a great communicator and wonderful to work with! Our two kids are pretty rambunctious and she had a really good energy to work with them and get some really sweet shots! You won’t regret hiring her!

What can I say?! Katherine has been capturing our growing family since 2022. Her professionalism and good vibes make every experience easy and she captures the most memorable pictures. Katherine was so amazing to work with! Meeting your photographer on the day of your wedding is always a risk, but Katherine was so professional, jumped right in, and got all the shots I was hoping for. Something I loved about Katherine was that she was directive enough to wrangle a group of people, but so kind that everyone listened.

Her turn around time was about a month, which for a summer wedding with over 700 photos delivered, felt like a pretty good amount of time!

I would absolutely work with Katherine again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions start at $465 for 1 hour sessions. Check out my website or email me for wedding & events. I DO NOT OFFER DISCOUNTS
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You can book directly through my website link or I can give you my packages and then we finalize the booking with a signed contract and deposit. You will receive a confirmation email with the details & updates on payments. We can do all of this through text, call or email I am very flexible. Deposit is due the day you book and full balance needs to be paid 2 weeks before your session. Proofs are sent 3-5 days later and then delivered 2-4 weeks after you select your favorites through an online gallery. Galleries for weddings & events have a return time of 3-8 weeks depending on how many hours the event was.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Been using my camera since 2014 on adventures, travel, and family outings. I am very confident with my composition, lighting, & posing others. I have learned a lot through workshops, other photographers, Youtube, instagram and hands on learning/experience.
