FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing always changes due to the fluctuations in cost of materials. Another thing is that the more detail a customer wants in a piece, the more expensive it will be. There is always ways we can work with a customer to make sure that they receive a good looking job for an acceptable price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to discuss a few things before I leave for an estimation. I then take measurements of the job and discuss in detail about specifics of the job and come to an agreement on the job that will be done to ensure mutual understanding. Once we agree on the work, I can then figure out the price of the job. Depending on the level of difficulty of the job, I can either give an estimate then and there, or some time the next day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked many blue collar jobs including construction, tile work, drywall installation. I've also worked office jobs relating to my line of work. I can read and draw plans using a CAD system, write spreadsheets in excel. I also pride myself of my interpersonal communication skills by being an effective Spanish-english translator, but by also making great work with great customers.
