Excellent work. Punctual.Jul 20, 2017Verified
Thorough and considerate, Landon came out to service our piano at a last-minute request. His knowledge of the piano's construction and functionality is deep, and listening to him play "test" music on it was enjoyable.Jan 31, 2015Verified
L.Paul was a thorough professional in the tuning of my very old and very out of tune spinet. I was totally pleased with the sound and now enjoy playing my favourite songs every day.May 16, 2014Verified
We bought a one hundred+ year old piano that we thought was in bad repair and we needed d honest to assessment of what needed to be repaired. Landon came in and within 15 minutes concluded it was not in bad shape. Landon took great care and extra time to tune the piano and was very informed about the piano; it's make up, the differences between brands, the history and mechanical differences of different brands. I appreciate all he did to bring life back to our piano pApr 26, 2014Verified
He knew his stuff, was on time, and cut no corners until it was done right. He will be back for our next tuningMar 22, 2014Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is based on the following criterion: The piano's 1) Age 2) Condition / Past Service History 3) Distance (from servicing technician) An 80 year old piano, never been rebuilt, will obviously require a greater level of care and service than a new piano, never been used.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. In addition to reading up on all the latest developments in our field, I study new/existing applications, methods, and processes of tuning, servicing, rebuilding. New experiences in the field in addition to annual conventions and correspondence courses, help to serve as continuing education mediums.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? Are you seeking to hire a piano technician, or a piano tuner? How long has the technician been in business? Does he/she have any letters of recommendation and/or high profile clients/venues (concert halls, schools, studios, etc.) Does he/she carry insurance? If so, how much? Will the technician charge for a return service visit, long (days/weeks) after he/she has left? If so, how much does the visit cost? "How, specifically, do you guarantee your work?"
