FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy services range from $150-300 depending on the length of time 45 to 90 minutes for individual and 90 to 120 minutes for group, couples/family sessions. We do offer reduced rates for those who qualify from $30 to $80 for all our services. All clients are required to participate in Individual and a DBT Skills Training Group weekly. That is you come once a week for individual and you come again for skills group as this is the prescribed dosage of treatment per research. If you are adjunct with us you must be in individual therapy with a therapist.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you call our office, you are greeted by an administrative staff member who will schedule an appointment with one of our therapists depending on your schedule. Since you are paying for this service a "Meet & Greet" is held where you get to meet with one of our therapist who will review all of our treatment components and what they expectations are of you as the client and of us as therapists before you commit to DBT.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Senior Clinicians/Therapists are licensed as Marriage & Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Professional Clinical Counselors and/or Educational Psychologists with a Masters Degree. We do offer reduced rate services with Associate and Trainee Clinicians still under the supervision of one of our licensed therapists. All Clinicians are required to be Comprehensively Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy in line with the requirements set forth by Behavioral Tech a Linehan Training Training Company or its equivalent in order to practice DBT or have received training from the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or its equivalent post graduation or as part of their graduate studies.
