Introduction: My literature degree has, for over a decade, exposed me to varied genres and content. This diversity has trained me to to work quickly and efficiently on every project while keeping in mind the voice and wishes of every client. I was recently tasked with editing a Ph.D. candidate's essay for an academic journal. The work was turned in earlier than the allotted time I was given and my client was more than satisfied. He was kind enough to give me credit in his by-line upon presentation of his essay to the journal. I believe my genuine interest in his project and the open line of communication I established early on with him made for a positive and swiftly resolved interaction. My is broad-ranged. I have edited personal depositions for two legal custody hearings, multiple product descriptions, and numerous forms of business correspondence. I pride myself in my responsiveness and my flexibility in writing. I have the ability to adjust my style in keeping with the desired voice of the client. I take considerable pride in the attention I give each client. There is no job too great or small. To take the thoughts of a person and polish them so that they capture the genuine sentiment of my client is rewarding. Using the English language in order to effectively communicate the thoughts of each client is my heart's goal.
