- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm new to Thumbtack, and though I have an hourly fee for dissertation editing, I'm still working out the pricing for resumes. I suppose it depends on how involved the client wants to be in the process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I like the client to send me their document in Word a day or so before we talk so I can review it and come up with a list of questions. Then I send the marked document to the client and we look it over together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been doing this work for over 8 years, and I'm guided by the best practices in the industry. I've worked on literally hundreds of resumes for people with lots of work experience, very little, and somewhere in-between.
