- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge standard prices for all hair and makeup. Our fee schedule will never change once we quote a price (even if your wedding is a year or two away)! - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As the owner, I start out by finding out the needs of the bride and her party. I then consider which team members are the best fit for that wedding party. I will meet the bride and go over details with her. I ask for photos of her favorite hair and makeup styles. We then set up a date for hair and makeup trials (assuming she is doing both). She is asked to bring hair pieces and/or veil so we get her exact look for her wedding. We do a contract and take a deposit. I calculate hours needed to provide a great experience for the bride on her wedding day. I will check in with her several times between the trials and her wedding day, just to make sure everything is on track. We collect the remaining balance at the end of our wedding prep time, once everyone is all done and happy with the results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our stylists are very experienced hair and makeup artists. Some do just hair, some do just makeup. Several are trained to do both! We have girls trained to do airbrush makeup as well as beautiful hand applied makeup.
