Learn guitar from a working professional guitarist. Personalized 60-minute online lessons for adults who are serious about improving their playing. Hi, I’m Ryder Green. I’m a professional guitarist with 20+ years of playing experience and 10+ years performing professionally. As a working guitarist, I use the same techniques, practice methods, and musical concepts in my lessons that I rely on in real-world playing, with a focus on practical skills that translate directly to your guitar playing. I work with acoustic and electric guitar players from beginners through advanced musicians. Want to learn songs? Absolutely. I’ll take the time to help you learn the entire part properly, including the details that make it sound closer to the record—not just the basic chords or notes. I specialize in blues, rock, classic rock, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, improvisation, technique, phrasing, timing, and developing confident, expressive players. Every lesson is built around your goals. Whether you want to learn songs, improve your technique, play better solos, learn to improvise, or simply become a more confident guitarist, we’ll create a clear plan to help you get there. Students appreciate that I keep lessons practical, personalized, and easy to apply. I focus on things you can actually use instead of overwhelming you with excessive theory or exercises. As one student wrote: “Ryder custom designed a learning program that’s fun and easy to understand.” Another said: “Patient, doesn’t rush things, and I’ve learned a lot.” As an active performing and recording guitarist, I bring real-world experience from live shows and studio work into every lesson. If you’re looking for personalized instruction from a guitarist who actively performs, records, and cares about helping you become a better musician, I’d love to help.
