Ellis Construction did an awesome job on our project. They rehung our front door on a home that was built in the early 1900’s, we did not want to replace the door as it is arched and was the original door and has a lot of charm. Todd was innovative in his approach to re-hang the door as well as weather strip and re-trim so it now has a tight seal. He also installed new door hardware which looks great. In addition, he repaired our front gate that was sagging and did not close well. His pricing was fair and affordable. High quality work and customer service. We are having them do some additional work on another home.

Todd responded quickly and showed up at the time he said he would. I needed about 10 broken fiber cement siding shingles replaced and he was able to come over and fix it all in a few hours. I'd recommend his work.

Todd is great and very professional. I had him come out to look at repairs on an old property in midtown Sacramento. His knowledge, insight and creativity with assessing the repairs was great. Unfortunately, I was unable to use him because of scheduling on my end, but I look forward to employing him for future work.

Todd and his mentor repaired a 7'x9' multi-paned window from the 1930s that is the nicest most noticeable feature on my home from the street. It was dry rotted so badly that there was a hole big enough for mice to come through. Todd took the window to his mentor's woodshop and together they rebuilt the window with beautiful joinery, removing all the weak rotted parts and replacing with new wood. He then reinstalled the window and used Bondo to completely rebuild the sill (which was also largely dry rotted). The repair is solid and beautifully done. He also was super pleasant to have around, professional in every way, cleaned up every time after his work, and I'm 100% happy. It's way preferable to me to rebuild a beautiful old window rather than buy a new one. He did so affordably (about 1/4 the cost if I had had to buy a brand new window). Thanks, Todd! I totally recommend him to anyone needing this kind of work.

I took a few design classes in college. I went to UC Davis extension for Project Management. I have performed and narrated over 400 sewer inspections. I am a residential electrician. I worked at Amerigas Propane for 5 years, receiving formal training in propane, propane delivery, and disaster preparedness. I am a licensed General Contractor in the State of CA.
