Introduction: My areas of interest include treating adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families experiencing issues which can create problems in the school, community, and home setting. I provide individual and family therapy to address all types of issues, including anxiety, depression, hoarding, parenting, co-parenting, panic attacks, school issues, relationship issues, family communication, conflict management, parent/teen conflict, and anger issues. I have great respect and experience in working with survivors of domestic-violence and sexual-assault survivors.
I work to find the best style of therapy for you and your goals. My theoretical orientation draws on cognitive behavioral theories and a psychoanalytic approach, allowing me to create the right blend of past and current focus and help you make progress with your concerns.
I am a certified administrator for Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), which is a tool used to identify personality traits and preferences. This tool is beneficial in individual, family, and couple therapies.
My education include the following:
* MS in counseling psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from the University of Phoenix
* BS in psychology from Grand Canyon University
