Great experience with O&U having them replace an old fence. Reasonable price and quick service. Two of my neighbors have asked for Ray’s contact info so they can get their fences done too.

I had such a great experience teaming up with Ray and Harold, the owners of O&U Fence. From start to finish, they were super responsive, totally reliable, and professional in their approach. The crew was punctual, worked a full day to complete the job, and ensured thorough cleanup before leaving. Ray deserves a special shoutout for going the extra mile to ensure everything looked top-notch.
We decided to opt for metal posts and increase the fence height to 7 feet. Harold arranged for 811 to mark out the utility lines. On the day of installation, their crew efficiently removed the old fence and began digging holes approximately 2 feet deep. They then filled the holes with concrete and made sure to slope it away from the house to ensure effective drainage. I’m pleased with their work and plan to bring them back to replace the fence on the east side of my house.

I had 54 feet of fence that was far past it’s replacement date. I put my job on Thumbtack and selected O&U because of their reviews. Ray was able to fit me in with another job in my area the same week of my request for quote. The price was reasonable and the guys did such a beautiful job. They finished it in one day from complete tear down to rebuild, including cleanup. They left the area looking like they weren’t even here. I just love it how great the new fence looks. If I can talk the neighbor on one side into redoing the good neighbor fence with me, I will hire these guys again for sure.

We will price match any licensed contractors bid that you’ve gotten. And we can usually get the job completed sooner; usually only booked out about a month.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We really like to set proper expectations. We are up front about timelines, prices and specs of work. From the quoting process through to the cleaning up of the job site.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Harold and I worked for 3 years with a large fencing company in the Bay Area. Then started our own business 3 years ago. Strictly doing fence full time.
