FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum planning fee is $500 up to $5,000 depending on the complexity of the plan. My planning fees are typically lower due to providing asset management services as well. Once the complimentary consultation is completed a firm quote for services is provided.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide a complimentary consultation that will allow me to learn about your current situation and how our planning services can help. A one page fact finder is provided and reviewed at the consultation. After the consultation I will provide a proposal for services that are applicable to your personal goals and objectives. If the proposal is accepted then we will complete and sign a financial planning agreement for services. A deposit for half the planning fee is typically required upon signing the planning agreement and the balance is due at the delivery of the plan. If the service is an investment portfolio review only then a fee may not apply.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional designations, which require adherence to rigorous ethical and educational standards. I have extensive experience in financial planning and investment management, which has been provided since 1989 and a contributing author to the recently published book "Financially Empowered".
