- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We run what's called a "honeypot" computer designed for the express purpose of attracting and contracting computer infections. We then attempt to disinfect the system to learn how new viruses and malware react to our current methods, and formulate new ways of cleaning out viruses without needing to completely wipe a computer
- What types of customers have you worked with?
It seems that the things we fix come and go in trends. This month it's been Xbox360's and PS3 fixes. Mostly we fix what are called the Red Ring of Death, and the Yellow Light of Death. Both of these are the terms used for the error state these systems go into when they've overheated too many times and are in need of repair
