- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We understand the desire to receive a quote before a technician comes to your home. Spending unexpected money is stressful and you want to make sure it is spent wisely. It is difficult to quote repairs on a garage door and opener unless we put our eyes on the problem. There are basic trouble shooting techniques we use on site to resolve internal problems not visible to the consumer. Once we have completed our standard 20-point inspection our customers rarely stand to question our competitive and fair quotes for only the necessary repairs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education matters. The Garage Door industry is always updating and improving their products to stay competitive with the market and incorporate any new technology that may benefit the consumer. We attend seminars conducted for licensed contractors, which demonstrate and educate us on any new product being offered. This continuing education helps keep Rolling Garage Doors & Gates, Inc. on the cutting edge of technology.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Years ago I met a very intelligent man who owned his own garage door company and saw potential in me as a technician. He believed hiring me was a good investment for his company. Little did I know 15+ years ago that becoming a Garage Door technician was going to be my Passion and Career. He educated and taught me the proper way of OPERATING A BUSINESS, the importance of VALUED CUSTOMERS, and the true SCIENCE TO GARAGE DOORS & OPENERS.
