Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I take pride in all my work. I am incredibly picky about doing quality work for each and every client. I will and do make an extra effort to make sure the best job has been done no matter what it is. You won't find sloppy work and shortcuts taken here. I love helping people with things beyond their scope. When my customer is happy, it feels great. There's a lot of satisfaction that comes with completing a well done job also.

Great experience! Follow up was consistent, very punctual, and highly respectful. Provided a sophisticated design idea for my project, and completed exactly as described. Skilled Handywoman! Thanks Cathy!

Carhy is a hard worker and up to any challange. She has been a great help to me. She can do light or heavy work and not at all afraid to jump right into getting a project completed. I recommend and use Cathy to help quite often.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes. I am always using Internet and other rescources to update and expand my knowledge on many different hinks. The learning curve is continual.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started working on houses seriously when I owned my first one around 1998. A contractor was hired to re-furbish a house near mine. The finished project was done so cheaply, the owners couldn't sell it for a long time and it finally went for less than it should have. But the contractors bill wasn't cheap, of course. I decided to do mine myself to make sure it was to a high standard. In the end we had 2 offers on the house right away and then one bid 10k more. We sold to the first buyer after they agreed to match the other buyers bid @ 10k over asking. I also found that I liked doing this kind of work too.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My best advice would definitely be; Always, always get more than one estimate for a job and try to ask a few relevant questions just to see if the person actually knows about the work.
