This has been a frustrating experience. I was quoted $45 an hour for several small projects. Eduard replied that he could get it done in a day. $360 or so seemed fair. The day of, after the start time agreed, he said he looked at the pictures again and it would be $680 to get all of it done. Big difference but still seemed reasonable compared to other quotes. He shows up an hour late and sees the work that needs to get done and goes to the store. When he returns he starts a project but cannot complete because it was harder than he thought. Goes to another project and can’t complete because he did not buy all the supplies from the store. He knew one job was replacing moulding and tried to do it with a drill and screws. He did not finish because he did not have a nail gun.
He painted the door frame the wrong color and finished patching some holes and did not paint.
He did not clean his mess and still tried to charge me double the agreed upon price.
3 of the jobs were not even started because he did not have the right tools. Extremely frustrating.
