Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Bravo from Red Patch Builds here. Served 6 years in the Marines and helped remodel 2 schools, a clinic and built a kitchen for a school in Central America. I'm a quick thinker and problem solver. For Outside Sacramento, my service call is $175 and $50 per Hour. For Local Sacramento, Service call is $150 and $50 per Hour. I do give free estimates for projects. Upon hire the service call is applied for most projects. Each Service call comes with 2 hours of General Labor beginning when I arrive to the clients location. Some jobs have a flat fee and Thumbtack doesn't have a slot for me to add that but I am willing to work it out with you through messages 💪 I charge this way because I do good work, I can fix a lot of things and I am willing to travel. I am not a licensed contractor in California. Simply means that jobs are limited to $500 or less including Labor and Materials. Semper Fi

Handyman

Anthony provides top-notch service! He is very responsive and friendly. He took his time to do the job right and for that I am very appreciative. He was extremely fair in pricing and I am very happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. In fact I plan on doing so with some upcoming home projects I have. A+++

Fence and Gate Repairs

The lower part of my fence gate was rubbing against the concrete and had to be adjusted. Anthony helped me with the task and it took him 5 mins to fix it. The price was reasonable and was quoted while scheduling.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

As a Marine I'll absolutely give out a discount price to Active Military and Veterans. Message me about it and we can work it out through there.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For Thumbtack, I'll send a message via the app. If no response, I like to practice calling or texting the personally because I know a notification may not come in. In general, I go straight to the point as far as what I need to know and pricing. When I arrive to the clients home, they'll notice I like to knock instead of texting and I practice some manners. My clients tend to feel comfortable around me and most dogs also. I've had plenty of animals that don't like to be pet or usually don't take kind at all to strangers come up to me like they've known me before. Do with that information however you'd like.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have about 8 mentors that have poured into me over some time. One of them being my dad who took me out to work with him since I was about 10. In the Marines, the Combat Engineers showed me how to work concrete and mortar and showed me how to perform a lot of complex tasks and some redundant. One of my mentors is a good brother in Christ and we go out on some jobs and he pours in what knowledge he has. I'm not building pianos but I'll do a good job. As my buddy says "There's not one way to build something right, but there are a lot of ways to do it wrong." My mentors just teach me how to do it right the first time.
