- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you contact me I will text you to learn more about your project and gather pictures of the space and inspiration images from you, then I will send a quote. Once a deposit is made, I will proceed with creating a custom design, you will review the design and submit changes. If you are happy and proceed with the design you will then pay the balance of the design fee and receive your design package with links to all the items. At this time I don’t offer technical drawings or installation but I can provide references for those things.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Art and Design from Cal Poly SLO, I completed post grad classes in VisDev with artists in the entertainment industry including Disney. I have several years experience doing interior design style boards mostly nurseries and kids rooms on a blog. I have designed several other spaces and some of my spaces have been installed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was inspired by LayBabyLay in 2011, and created interior design style boards for several years on my blog, mostly nursery design, but also other interior spaces. It had a fine art bent.
