From our initial meeting and on each workday, Arman was punctual and respectful of our home. Our job was not an easy one and even though we just wanted a paint refresh - 100 year old walls are problematic. We are very pleased with the job he completed and will not hesitate to call him first for future painting projects. His prices are reasonable and I liked the quality of the paint he used for our project. I’m also appreciative of a color suggestion he made for a bookshelf. Armen did a wonderful job putting up three sides of new fence. He was thorough and we are happy with product and the price was very competitive and fair. Punctual, efficient, organized, professional, thoughtful, careful, honest, direct, pleasant - and he fixed it! Armen showed up at the appointed time. I love punctuality, especially from someone I have not met before - does not leave me wondering if they are coming or not. He looked over the problem and asked questions before he brought in his tools. I think this was efficient since he was not bringing in a lot that he would not need. The refrigerator door of a side-by-side had to be removed to repair the broken hinge, so all the food on the door had to be removed. He gladly assisted with that and was very careful in doing so. When he got to the hinge, he found that two parts were broken. I had ordered from the manufacturer the one part I knew about but not the second one. He was able to fix it anyway. It works perfectly now. Then he helped put all the food back on the door - I consider that a bit above and beyond regular service. He wasted no time in getting to the problem with the freezer side. After taking off an interior panel, he was able to see that the problem was in my lack of maintenance: I thought that a self-defrosting freezer did not need to be defrosted. Silly me! He was patient but direct in telling me what I must do to prevent the kind of ice build-up that caused this problem (water on the floor) and the resulting damage (oak flooring under the refrigerator is discolored and rotting and will have to be replaced). He was direct in telling me what to do and in telling me that my suggested shortcuts would not work. Armen uses a translator app on his phone if he does not have the right vocabulary in English to clearly communicate his message. I found him pleasant to work with and will not hesitate to hire him again for any handyman need.
