About this pro

How does your business stand out?

I go above and beyond expectations of my customers and I personally show up to EVERY job. I currently have a 5 star rating on Yelp and Angie's List and accredited by the BBB.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

The best thing about my work is when I get a "WOW" at the end. Most of the tables I encounter need to be corrected due to improper installation. We polish all the wood and clean the felt so when people enter your home they see an impressive piece of furniture not just a pool table.

    Great and very professional.
He disassembled the table so I could have new floors installed. He came back a few days later to reassemble it. Very professional and great pricing. I would highly recommend hi services...

    Beautiful job!
Stu and Nazareth moved and re-felted our antique table (110 year old family heirloom) for us and did an absolutely beautiful job. We looked around for someone who had experience with antique tables and would have the care and patience to do the job right. Definitely found that in Stu! They took their time and definitely didn't cut corners--between the ball return system, one-inch slate, and not being put together quite properly last time, this was not quick or easy work. Now this is the nicest table we've EVER played on. I can't even describe how smooth and perfect this table is. In addition to attention to detail and skill, they didn't leave any dust or mess, Stu made sure everything was perfect. If you're looking for someone with care and experience, Stu is your man!

    Stu's Pool Table Moving
The service was great. Stu just had scheduling issues that day. He emailed me a time between 10 am and noon. Then wrote me on the schedule between 4-6pm. Would have been fine except the pool table was being moved from Jackson to Elk Grove. My husband and I wasted an entire day waiting for him. He did offer a discount for the scheduling error. I would recommend him, but make sure to double check the scheduling time. Pool table looks awesome

Stu did a great job on a short move from Walnut Creek to Lafayette. At a very reasonable price, he professionally disassembled, made some minor repairs, and re-assembled the pool table. He and his co-worker were very careful not to bump or mar walls, even on a tricky flight of stairs. The table was polished and thoroughly cleaned to look like new. I will definitely use Stu in the future.

Stu and his partner were amazing! I could not ask for a better experience. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Stu made the experience from start to finish so easy. If I ever need to move my pool table again I wont even think of calling anyone else!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm the only company in the Northern California area that has a service pricelist. Other companies want to charge you according to how busy or slow they are. If they are busy you are paying above full price if they're slow they're willing to cut deal to fill their schedule
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Always calling ahead of an appointment to let them know we are in route. Communication is the key to customer service success
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self taught by book and not by some shortcut expert
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I made the mistake of moving a table without knowing anything about them. When I got it home the table would not level. I then searched The Internet for answers and found The Green Book. Which is the only solid book I found on everything related to pool tables except playing on them.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Any and all and my clients are the coolest people around.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Doing antique tables is my favorite because of the history possibly associated with it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
, Reviews, reviews, reviews listen to the most recent customers and you'll get an idea of which direction this company is headed.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How to determine a quality purchase from a dressed up turd
