- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices is determined by the job. Some clients may need a small cake with little detail requirements, some people might need a bigger cake. It all depends on what you want and the details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is no required continuing education class for this field of work, but I do study and observe the latest techniques from the Internet or I'll call local bakery for techniques that I'm not sure of. I do whatever it takes to complete an order. I've even corresponded with pastry chefs if I need to.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I can give if your looking to hire me as your cake designer is to be open to ideas. If you've seen the show Cake Boss then you have an idea of what I do. A closed mind will limit your cake design.
