- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I quote my price as per day which includes the overnight stay, so technically it equals a 24 hour period. But, if on the last day you are expected home later than 1pm, and I possibly will need to feed the animals dinner, than I count that as a full day.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a friend that I worked with, who also did pet sitting, and she was starting to get too busy. I think I had mentioned at some point that I had done some myself, and would be willing to help her out if needed. She asked for help, and the work just blossomed from there.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My favorite is to stay at the client house, with the animals, for extended overnights. I will keep their routine as normal as possible, and help keep the animals as stress free as possible. I do feeding, walking, similar night time routines (like if they want to sleep with me in the bed), and anything else the animals need or are used to.
